    Francesca knows how to work hard and reach for her goals! She attend ALA Girls State where she sat on the platform committee and served as the House Majority Leader in the House of Representatives. While there she was nominated to attend ALA Girls Nation in Washington D.C. this past July! Only 2 girls from each state get selected to go and after going through a grueling interview process, our very own Brickie was chosen!  When at the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation she became a "senator" who met for a week-long immersive learning. After running for office, electing a mock U.S. Girls Nation President, and campaigning for the passage of mock legislation, participants met with real-life national government leaders! They also visited the White House and met President Obama!!

    Francesca has also had the opportunity to stay in Hallein, Austria for 2 weeks at the home of the family that owns the Pension Sommerauer Hotel in Hallein, where she tutored their children in English. She has been traveling to Europe since she was 10 and has formally been learning German since 8th grade.

    There is no doubt you will be hearing about Francesca in the future. You may even get to vote for her!! Best of luck in the future!
