    The HHS Athletic Department will honor Hall of Fame Inductees Brian Butler and Larry Bigbie at half-time during the Boys Basketball game against Wheeler.  Everyone is invited to attend the game and ceremony! Congrats to both Brickies on their nomination!

    KHAN Academy Parent Workshop
    Tues Feb 21: 6pm
    Khan Academy is a resource that offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and personalized learning that empowers learners to study at their own pace in many different subjects! Parents can even serve as coaches to help maximize the benefit to their child. This workshop will detail the program to parents and explain the options for parents to become a coach!

    Wake Up Call:
    Monday Feb 27: 6:30pm
    Alcohol and drug abuse amoung teens continues to be a serious problem in both the US and our state. Parents, educators and community members are invited to attend this presentation to learn about the signs and symptoms of abuse as well as common items that may be used to hide it. Limited to adults 21 years of age or older. Childcare and a pasta dinner will be available at no charge for attendees, but a reservation is required.   • Midsummer Night's Dream
    March 9, 10, 11: 7:30pm

    A Midsummer Night's Dream is a comedy written by William Shakespeare. It portrays the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta. These include the adventures of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set. The play is one of Shakespeare's most popular works for the stage and is widely performed across the world. Come see our Brickies bring it to life!

    Seniors are invited to attend a special reception to enjoy appetizers before the play. Reservations are a must, so call 942-8521 x 8193 to reserva your place!

  • Go For Launch
    Go For Launch
    June 8 - 10
    HHS will host “Go For Launch” this summer for all interested area high-school students. This innovative 3-day program will focus on space exploration and STEM areas, as well as building leadership, teamwork and communication skills. Student teams will work with actual NASA personnel, including Hobart native Michelle Lucas, to design their own space experiments! Program fee is $250; payment plans are available.     HHS Memories Yearbooks
    Available Feb 15 & 22 at lunch

    The 2015-16 yearbooks are in! Students can pick them up on Wed Feb 15 or 22 at lunches only. There are also some additional copies available in the Main Office @$55. Also: This year's yearbooks can now be ordered online; the cost is $55, but is expected to go up. Visit http://ww.yearbookforever.com and click on "Buy a Yearbook."

    Yohans's Closet
    HHS is sponsoring a new program.  “Yohan’s Closet” will make personal care items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant and more, available for students who are unable to purchase them. If you already enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program, you qualify. Stop by the Media Center or the Nurse’s office to pick up a form. Completed forms are to be turned in to the Nurse.
