Homework is sent home on Tuesday and always due that Friday.  Homework is usually a review of what has been taught in class.  This is a great way for your child to share what s/he is learning in school and for you to celebrate his successes.  Please go over the directions with your child, but s/he should be able to do the work on his own. 

I do expect you to read nightly to your child at home, this sets a good example for child and gets your child interested in school. 

Reading bags will be sent home twice a week with paper books that we have worked on in class.  Please read the book and send the bag and book to school the next day.
