• Meet Mrs. Crouch

Mrs. Crouch teaches Kindergarten here at the Early Learning Center at George Earle.  This will be Mrs. Crouch’s 6th year teaching kindergarten and 7th year within the district!  She enjoyed her time with all of the students and looks forward to meeting all of our new kindergarten friends this year!

She graduated from Purdue University Calumet with highest honors in Elementary Education in the Spring of 2007.  Her mother taught for 32 years, and Mrs. Crouch is following in her mother's footsteps!  Besides attending Purdue University Calumet, Mrs. Crouch has also attended Valparaiso University and Western Michigan University for Elementary Education and Integrated Creative Arts.  She was also married on August 11, 2007 to her Prince Charming in a Cinderella meets Star Wars wedding!  Yes, Cinderella (Mrs. Crouch) did fight Darth Vader (Greg) on the dance floor with light sabers.

On July 8, 2010, Mr. and Mrs. Crouch were very excited to welcome their daughter, Krystal, into the world.  Krystal just turned 4 and had an Ariel/Frozen party!  She loves Superheroes and just started gymnastics this year!  She loves to come visit mommy’s classroom and meet her students, and really likes to read and color with her kindergarten friends too.  But most of all, Krystal likes to swim!  She enjoyed taking lessons at the pool and LOVES to swim on her own.   This year's exciting adventure is that Krystal will be a big sister!

Mrs. Crouch also enjoys singing with the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra - as a member of their chorus. She also enjoys playing games with friends.  On Saturday mornings, she loves to watch cartoons and funny movies.  Her favorite animals are llamas and sheep, and she loves the music of Josh Groban.  One day, she even hopes to perform with Mr. Groban himself!  Mrs. Crouch also loves The Avengers, especially Loki!

This summer the family went to Disney World for our first time as a family!  We LOVED the Haunted Mansion.  Mrs. Crouch has a special fish that she carries around with her everywhere (a gift from a very special friend), and that is why we have a fishy theme for our classroom!
