Dear HMS parent,

 

Hobart Middle School requires the successful completion of 20 credits per year for promotion (an average of 5 credits per quarter). For students who are lacking the credits they need for promotion, credit recovery will be offered after school at $30.00 per class (credit). Students may enroll in all four classess per quarter.

 

To receive credit in the recovery program, students must participate until all assigned work is successfully completed. Students who complete the credit recovery work successfullly before May 31st will be dismissed from remaining sessions.

 

Payment for the program does not guarantee that credit will be earned. Students who are non-productive or disruptive in the program will be asked to leave and will forfeit the credit.

 

Credit Recovery Session 3 will begin April 15th and will end May 31st. Students will report to the appropriate teacher's classroom at 2L40 on the day (s) of the week listed, and will be dismissed at 4:00.

 

Beginning 2nd quarter, credit recocvery will be offered in the subject areas below on the day of the week listed:

 

Monday   Social Studies

Tuesday   Math

Wednesday  Science

Thursday    English

 

Parents are responsible for transportation; no buses will be provided for credit recovery students. The building will be closed immediately after the session so studetns must leave or be picked up promptly.
