    GRADUATION 2017!
    Commencement ceremonies for the 2017 graduating class of Hobart HS will take place June 1 at 6pm. Graduation will be held outside at the Brickyard Stadium if weather permits. In the event of bad weather, it will be held in the gym. In that case, each grad will be limited to 6 guest tickets only. For important graduation information, click here.

    Sports Physicals at HHS
    Grades 11 & 12: May 22
    Grades 9 & 10: May 23
    HHS students expecting to play sports next year may get their physicals done on May 22 & 23 after school. Cost is $25. Students have the option of getting it done elsewhere, but must make sure all the paperwork is filled out correctly.

    Outstanding Educator Award Winners
    This year's Hobart Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Educators have been announced! Receiving the awards are Heather Paulson, Josh Reno, and Kari Roach. Congratulations to the winners, and thank you for your outstanding commitment and contribution to the success of our Hobart students! The Award is co-sponsored by the Hobart Education Foundation.

    Football Car Wash & Bake Sale
    Saturday: May 6 & May 20
    The Football Booster Club will hold a car wash and bake sale to help send players to camp this summer. Bring your car to Joan Martin between 9am and 1pm on either Saturday to get it washed and pick up some delicious baked goods!

  • Go For Launch
    Go For Launch
    June 8 - 10
    HHS will host “Go For Launch” this summer for all interested area high-school students. This innovative 3-day program will focus on space exploration and STEM areas, as well as building leadership, teamwork and communication skills. Student teams will work with actual NASA personnel, including Hobart native Michelle Lucas, to design their own space experiments! Program fee is $250; payment plans are available.     HHS is sponsoring a new program.  “Yohan’s Closet” will make personal care items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant and more, available for students who are unable to purchase them. If you already enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program, you qualify. Stop by the Media Center or the Nurse’s office to pick up a form. Completed forms are to be turned in to the Nurse.
