    Parents can learn about the options available at HHS for early college credit and Advanced Placement classes for their student's junior and senior years. Representatives from cooperating colleges will be there to answer questions about enrollment and registration, and to help parents learn about the value of having college credits before graduating from high school.

    Parents of football players who will be in grades 9 - 12 are invited to attend a meeting about next year's football program. Important information and schedules will be discussed. Lansing Sporting Goods will be available for any player who still needs to purchase shoes. Park in the Union Street lot and enter through Door 1 to get to the Great Hall.

    HHS will present the annual student talent show for two nights at 7pm! Everyone is invited to attend to enjoy the entertainment as our Brickies perform. Admission is $5; no charge for children younger than school age. Come in Door 21.

    Audition Call-Out Dates:
    Dates: April 26, 27 & May 1 from 3-5pm
    There will be Audition Call-Outs for SCOH students currently in grades 8 to 11 who wish to participate in the fall musical next year.     Go For Launch
    June 8 - 10
    HHS will host “Go For Launch” this summer for all interested area high-school students. This innovative 3-day program will focus on space exploration and STEM areas, as well as building leadership, teamwork and communication skills. Student teams will work with actual NASA personnel, including Hobart native Michelle Lucas, to design their own space experiments! Program fee is $250; payment plans are available.     The 2015-16 yearbooks are in! Students can pick them up on Wed Feb 15 or 22 at lunches only. There are also some additional copies available in the Main Office @$55. Also: This year's yearbooks can now be ordered online; the cost is $55, but is expected to go up. Visit and click on "Buy a Yearbook."

    HHS is sponsoring a new program.  “Yohan’s Closet” will make personal care items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant and more, available for students who are unable to purchase them. If you already enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program, you qualify. Stop by the Media Center or the Nurse’s office to pick up a form. Completed forms are to be turned in to the Nurse.
