Volunteers in the Schools

The School City of Hobart values volunteerism!
Volunteering includes supervising, assisting, or
working with any children in our school, i.e.
study trips, classroom parties, PTO activities,
etc. To continue to provide your child a safe
environment, the School City of Hobart has
implemented a Volunteer Application. Fill out
the information and return the form to your child's school.  Remember to bring a valid, government-issued identification to be scanned.

If you volunteer now or would like to in the future at one of the schools in the district, you must fill out a volunteer form and return it to the school of choice. A valid, government-issued photo identification will be scanned against state and national sex offender registries and the application will then be sent to the Administration office for a criminal history check. 

You will be informed of your status regarding your volunteer efforts. (If you have children in several Hobart schools, you must have your ID scanned at each building)

Please print and complete the application or ask for a blank form from your child’s teacher or the main office of the school. In addition, you must bring a form of identification such as your driver's license with the application.  Please understand that if you do not fill this application out, you cannot volunteer at any school in the School City of Hobart.
