Educational Foundation

General Purposes
The School City of Hobart Educational Foundation was formed to create links between public schools, civic groups, government, business and interested citizens.  The foundation's purpose is to bring the resources of the community to the schools.  Its Mission Statement is as follows:

The Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation organized to solicit, receive and allocate gifts, grants, and bequests of money, property or services to enhance programs, activities, and facilities of the School City of Hobart, to establish partnerships with the business community for the benefit of the School City of Hobart and to enhance the bond between the School City and the community.

• To further educational opportunities for students and faculty;
  
• To develop and promote interest in education;
  
• To stimulate teaching and teaching methods;
  
• To introduce state of the art technology to the schools;
  
• To provide scholarships;
  
• To promote partnerships with business and industry for the benefit of the School City of Hobart
